Contact the Editorial Desk
There is one editorial mailbox, editor@pilbaracallsau.com, and it is the only way to reach the desk.
The one mailbox
The only contact point is editor@pilbaracallsau.com. Messages sent there reach the editorial desk, and there is no phone line, no live chat and no support queue, because the desk is small and answers in writing.
Write in plain terms and include the page or figure you are asking about. If you are reporting something that looks wrong, say what you expected to see and where you saw it, so the check can start from the same place you did.
The response window and what moves a message to the front of the queue
Expect a reply within a few business days, and treat that as a target rather than a promise. The desk is small and messages are read in the order they arrive, with the exceptions set out below. If you have not heard back after that window, resend the original message rather than starting a new thread, because a duplicate without the earlier context usually costs more time than it saves. We do not operate a live chat and we do not answer messages outside Australian business hours.
A message that names the page, quotes the text and states the question moves faster than one that describes a problem in general terms. A correction request with a source attached is prioritised over a general query. A message that asks for personal trading advice is answered with a short explanation of why we cannot help, which is quick, but it does not get you the answer you wanted. The fastest route to a useful reply is a specific question with the inputs included.
We do not give response times for individual brokers or regulators, and we cannot escalate anything to FxPro on your behalf. If your question is about an open position, a withdrawal or an account restriction, the broker's own support is the only channel that can act, and waiting on us first only delays you. Send it to FxPro UK Limited and keep our message for the factual parts, such as how a margin figure was calculated or what a page currently says.
Account access, fund recovery and personal advice belong with the broker or a licensed adviser
We cannot access an account, reset a password, release a withdrawal, reverse a transaction or recover funds. Those actions sit with FxPro UK Limited, the entity that serves Australian residents, and only its support desk can act on them. We also cannot give personal trading advice, recommend a position size or tell you whether to trade gold. If your message is one of those, we will say so and point you to the right channel rather than attempt an answer we are not placed to give.
For a dispute about an account or a payment, go to the broker first and keep the correspondence. Because FxPro does not hold an ASIC licence and Australian residents deal with an offshore entity, the dispute route runs through the broker's own complaints process and then the regulator that licenses the entity, not ASIC. We can explain that structure in general terms, but we cannot lodge a complaint, chase a response or represent you in it.
For personal advice, the right channel is a licensed Australian adviser who can look at your circumstances. A general explanation of how leverage works, what a pip is worth on XAU/USD or what the regulator caveat means is not personal advice and should not be used as though it were. If you are unsure whether your question is factual or personal, send it and we will tell you which side of the line it falls on before either of us spends more time on it.
How a correction request is logged, checked and answered
A correction request is logged with the page URL, the quoted sentence and the source you supply, then checked against the facts the page was written from. If the page states something the source contradicts, we change the page and tell you what changed. If the page is right and the source is being read differently, we explain the reading we relied on and leave the page as it is. Either way you get a reply that addresses the specific sentence rather than a general acknowledgement.
We do not publish a correction without a source we can check. A claim that a figure is wrong is not enough on its own; point to the document, the clause or the published page that shows the correct position. For broker facts, that usually means the client agreement or the product disclosure statement for the entity that serves Australian residents. For a calculation, it means the inputs and the arithmetic. A request that supplies neither is acknowledged but cannot be actioned.
Corrections are handled on the page itself, not in a separate notice, so the reader who arrives later sees the corrected text rather than a correction buried elsewhere. We do not remove a page because someone disagrees with it. If the disagreement is about opinion rather than fact, such as whether a cost is worth paying, there is nothing to correct and we will say so plainly rather than edit to suit a preference.
The line between explaining a mechanism and giving personal trading advice
We can explain how a mechanism works and we cannot tell you whether to trade, what to buy or sell, or how much to risk. A question about how margin is calculated on XAU/USD, what a pip is worth at a given lot size, or how leverage caps apply to Australian residents has a factual answer and we will give it. A question about whether gold will rise, whether now is a good entry, or how much of your account to commit has no factual answer we can responsibly supply, and we will say so rather than dress an opinion up as guidance.
We can answer questions about the regulator caveat and what it means in practice. FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC. It does not hold an ASIC licence, so Australian residents deal with an offshore entity, and we can explain what that changes about dispute routes and protections. We cannot assess whether that trade-off suits your circumstances. Suitability depends on your finances, your experience and your tolerance for loss, which we do not know and should not guess at.
We can check arithmetic and we cannot audit your account. If you send the inputs for a margin or pip calculation, we can show where the result comes from. We cannot review your trade history, judge your risk management or comment on a position you already hold. Trading gold on leverage carries a real risk of losing more than you intend, and a general explanation of a mechanism is not a substitute for advice from someone licensed to give it in Australia.
What to send with a question about a page, a broker fact or a calculation
Send the exact page URL and the sentence or figure you are questioning, plus the source you are comparing it against. For a broker fact, name the entity and the document you relied on, such as the product disclosure statement or the client agreement. For a calculation, include the instrument code XAU/USD, the lot size, the leverage ratio and the reference price you used. Without the URL and the quoted text, we cannot tell which page or which version of a page you mean, and the message usually has to come back to you before any check begins.
For a margin or pip-value question on gold, send the position size in lots, the leverage cap you are checking against and your arithmetic. One standard lot is 100 oz and one pip is 0.01, so a 0.10-lot position at 1:200 needs about $85.50 margin using the reference price of 4275.0. If your figure differs, show the inputs you used rather than only the result. We can then point to the step that changed the answer, which is more useful than confirming or denying a number in isolation.
For a funding or account question, state the method you used, such as PayID or bank transfer, and the stage you reached, but never send account numbers, passwords, one-time codes or identity documents. We do not need them and cannot act on them. If the issue is with FxPro itself, say whether you dealt with FxPro UK Limited and whether the question is about the platform, the entity or the regulator. That detail decides whether the message belongs with us or with the broker's own support desk.
The details that make a message answerable on the first reply
A useful message states one question, the page or product it concerns, and the inputs behind any number. For gold, that means XAU/USD, the lot size, the leverage ratio and the price you used. For a broker question, it means the entity name and the document you are reading. For a funding question, it means PayID or bank transfer and the stage you reached, with no account identifiers. One question per message is easier to answer accurately than five bundled together.
Include what you have already checked and what you found, so the reply can start from there instead of repeating it. If you compared two pages and they disagree, say which two and quote both sentences. If a calculation gave a different result from ours, show your working. This is the difference between a message we can answer in one reply and a message that needs a round of clarification before any useful work begins.
Leave out anything we cannot use: passwords, one-time codes, account numbers, identity documents and screenshots of your balance. We do not need them, cannot act on them and should not hold them. A message that arrives with that material is treated as a security problem first, which slows the actual question. Send the factual parts and keep the account-specific material with the broker, which is the only party that can see your account.
No guest posts, no sponsored reviews, no paid placement
The desk does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews or paid placement at any price. There is no rate card and no exception, because a page that can be bought is a page a reader cannot rely on.
Affiliate links remain the only revenue, and they do not change what gets published. If you are a broker or an agency offering payment for coverage, the answer is no, and it stays no regardless of the amount.
What the desk will and will not help with
The desk will help with questions about what a page says, how a figure was derived, and how the checking works. It will explain what a term means in the context of gold (XAU/USD) and point you to the broker's own documents where the authoritative answer sits.
The desk will not help with account problems, will not chase or recover funds, and will not give personal advice on whether to trade or how to trade. Those matters belong with your broker and, where relevant, with the regulator or a licensed adviser.
